Purpose To develop and manage the Custom Analytics business and client relationships by designing, selling, executing, and presenting analytic studies to meet clients' research objectives and drive revenue and client satisfaction. Key Accountabilities 1. Projects -Client business issue definition, research study design -Project management and project team leadership -Timely and accurate client delivery -Responsible for final client presentations including key insights and recommendations -Utilization of simulation tools across all key service areas 1. Functional Knowledge -Understanding of statistical methodology for key products (no hands-on statistical modeling) -Collaborates with other Nielsen divisions to provide client support and develop solutions -Understanding of client organizations and the CPG industry 1. Client Interaction -Leads client meetings -Responsible for understanding client business issues and translating into product solutions -Presents results and capabilities to client audience -Take ownership for clients projects and analytics engagement 1. Revenue support -Provides accurate forecast inputs and updates for account planning -Pursues new business from existing and potential clients.




Requirements

Required -3+ years of experience -Bachelor's degree required -Demonstrable quantitative skills, interpersonal skills -Consultative skills, service orientation -Business problem solving and analytic orientation -Effective oral and written communication skills -Solid project management skills -Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills Preferred -Relevant industry experience -Masters degree -Working knowledge of Nielsen or IRI data -Advanced analytics experience with some or all of the following: marketing mix, price/promotion analysis, market structure, assortment
