The North American Professional Services team leads and manages all of Nielsen's relationships with consumer-focused manufacturers and retailers. The team includes over 1,600 professionals in the United States and Canada and coordinates all relationships for several hundred clients headquartered in North America including Coca-Cola, Colgate-Palmolive, Johnson & Johnson, Kraft, Hershey's, Heinz, Procter & Gamble and Unilever, to name a few. Clients range from CEOs through to senior brand, marketing, sales and market research executives. As a Retail Associate Client Manager, you will assist the Account Team in the implementation and use of Nielsen retail products and services to gain use & acceptance by the client, preferred status within the marketplace, and ensure full engagement within the retailer's entire organization. Specific responsibilities include:

-Analyze Nielsen's scanning and consumer panel data and present insightful analysis to the client summarizing issues while delivering value-added insights & solutions, not just data results
-Ensure Nielsen information is a vital element of the client's ongoing business/category planning process in addressing their issues/opportunities in pricing, promotion, assortment, target and loyalty marketing and space management
-Manage all data quality to ensure retailer use and acceptance and positively position Nielsen data methodologies and potential anomalies to the client
-Foster productive business relationships with key client personnel at the analyst, manager and director levels within the retailer organization


Requirements

Job Requirements
-3 years Consumer Products Goods (CPG) industry experience in a Retailer, Manufacturer or Syndicated Data supplier environment
-Working knowledge of Nielsen products and services or other similar syndicated data to solve client business issues
-Successful experience working with multiple levels within a client organization
-Demonstrated experience in account management and developing client relationships

-Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of delivering analytical insights to a client
-Exceptional communication, presentation and business writing skills
-Solid technical skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
